2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 dried red chile pepper
1/2 cup diagonally sliced carrot
1 red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
1/4 pound fresh pea pods
1/2 cup cooked Chinese noodles
Heat wok or large heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil, garlic, dried red pepper, carrot and red bell pepper; stir-fry 3 minutes. Add pea pods; continue to stir-fry 2 minutes. Add noodles; cook and stir until hot. Discard dried red pepper.
