Ingredients: 4 slices rye bread 6 teaspoons light margarine 4 ounces turkey pastrami, sliced 1/2 cup sauerkraut, drained 2 ounces reduced-fat mozzarella cheese, shredded Thousand Island Dressing 1 tablespoon reduced-fat mayonnaise 1 teaspoon sweet relish 1 teaspoon ketchup Directions:Combine dressing ingredients. Spread on one side of each slice of bread; spread 1 teaspoon of margarine on the other side. Pile half of pastrami, sauerkraut and cheese onto the dressing side of two slices of bread. Top with remaining bread, dressing side in.In a nonstick pan, melt the 2 remaining teaspoons of margarine over medium heat. Grill the sandwiches in the pan until golden (approximately 4 minutes per side). Cut in half and serve immediately. |
