Ingredients: 8-10 medium-sized carrots, peeled and cut into finger-size pieces 1 tablespoon sugar 1 cinnamon stick 1 1/2 tablespoons butter, melted 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley Water Directions:Place sugar, cinnamon stick, and carrots into a saucepan. Pour enough water into the saucepan to cover the carrots. Simmer for 20-25 minutes. Drain. Combine butter, brown sugar, ginger, and parsley in a saucepan. Toss lightly with drained carrots. |
