1 small onion, finely chopped
1 cup of ketchup
2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons of sugar
2 tablespoons of red wine or cider vinegar
Two 1 pound cans of red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
In a medium saucepan, combine the onion, ketchup, 1/4 cup of water, Worcestershire, sugar, and vinegar. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the kidney beans and simmer, uncovered for 10 minutes or until heated through.
