1 medium pared cucumber
1 tablespoon of chopped fresh or 1 teaspoon of dried dill weed
1 tablespoon of vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons of sugar
1/4 teaspoon of salt
Cut the cucumbers lengthwise in half, seed and cut into thin slices. Mix the cucumber and the remaining ingredients in 1 1/2 quart saucepan. Cook over high heat for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until the cucumber is crisp tender.
