Ingredients: 1/2 cup butter 2 squares (2 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate 1 cup sugar 2 eggs 3/4 cup unsifted all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon real vanilla 1/2 cup chopped nuts Directions:Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Microwave butter and chocolate in batter bowl on High 1 minute, until melted. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread batter in a non-stick 8 by 8 inch brownie pan. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until done. Allow to cool on rack 30 minutes before slicing, using a plastic knife. Or, if desired, bake these in your microwave oven instead by spreading batter in ungreased cake dish or quiche dish. Microwave, uncovered, on High 3 to 6 minutes depending on your microwave oven wattage. Allow to stand 5 minutes. Cut into bars or squares. |
