Ingredients: 1 lb lentils 1 large chopped onion 1-2 cloves chopped garlic 1 cup tomato sauce 2/3 cup olive oil 1 bay leaf Salt Pepper Directions:Clean the lentils well and place in a covered pot with enough water to emerse them. Boil for a short while and dump the water. Place the lentils back in the pot with water as before and add the rest of the ingredients. Slowly simmer for about an hour. |
