Rice cooked with pea (endomame gohan)

Ingredients:
1 cup peas
3 cups rice
4 inch x 2 inch konbu
sake, salt
nori (dried laver)

Directions:
1. Wash rice and rinse well. Put rice into an electric rice cooker, and add 2 tablespoons sake and 1/2 teaspoon salt and pour 3 1/4 cups water. Leave for 30 minutes.
2. Boil peas with a pinch of salt. When pea becomes soft (2 or 3 minutes), immediatly turn off the heat and leave until water cools. (Because pea is wrinkly). And drain.
3. Switch on the rice cooker. When water comes to boil in the rice cooker, remove konbu quickly. When rice is cooked, put peas on top. Cover again and steam for 15 minutes.
4. Cut nori into thin pieces with scissors. Serve rice in the rice bowl and put nori on the top.
