Ingredients: 1 egg Milk 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 cup flour
Directions:Break egg into 1/2 cup measure and fill with milk. Add salt and baking powder to unsifted flour, sift into liquid and stir. Knead gently. Cut into size desired and shape into round balls. Steam over boiling water for 10 minutes. These dumplings may be made without eggs for those who are allergic to eggs. Use 1/2 cup milk only. Makes about 5 dumplings. |
