Ingredients: 2 pounds strawberries 1 cup sugar (to taste) 1 quart water 1/2 cup cornstarch 1/2 teaspoon vanilla (optional) Directions:Clean and rinse berries. Add to water and bring to a boil over medium heat. Add sugar and simmer until berries are tender. Dissolve cornstach in a little water, and add to berries and sugar. Add vanilla. Bring to rolling boil, stirring constantly. Continue stirring and allow pudding to boil a few minutes. Cool. Sprinkle with sugar and serve with cream. |
