Put syrup, butter and brown sugar on a pan and heat until boiling point. Remove the pan from the heat. Mix potash ad water and stir until dissolved. Add potash mix and spices, stir well and leave to cool. Knead in the flour a little at a time. Leave cold until the next day 2.
