Ingredients: 3 sticks butter 1 (4 oz) bar German`s chocolate, grated 3 cups sugar 3 cups flour 5 eggs 1 tsp. baking powder 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream 1 (6 oz.) pkg chocolate chips 1/4 cup milk 1/2 cup chopped pecans Chocolate frosting: 2 sq. melted chocolate 1/4 cup milk 1/2 stick butter 3/4 box confectioners sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Directions:Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat 4 minutes at medium speed. Stir in sour cream, milk, and grated chocolate; mix well. Add sifted flour and baking powder; beat well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 325 degrees until it tests done. Ice with a chocolate frosting. |
