Ingredients: 1 lb. beef liver 2/3 cup flour 1 medium onion, chopped 1 8 oz. package 1/2" wide egg noodles 1/2 cup butter or margarine salt and pepper Directions:1. Boil egg noodles per package directions. 2. Slice liver in slivers 1/2" by 2". Place in plastic bag or covered bowl. Pour in flour and shake until well coated. 3. In large skillet, melt butter and brown liver (do not over cook). Remove to dish and saute onion until translucent. Mix onion with liver in dish. 4. Add cooked noodles to skillet and fry until some are slightly crisp. Add liver and onions and cook 3 minutes more, tossing occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve. |
