Ingredients: 1 pkg. smoked sausage 1 can chicken broth 1 cut-up chicken 2 medium onions, chopped 1 cup rice
Directions:Cut sausage into thin slices and brown in a large cast-iron skillet. Remove the sausage and set aside. Add a little oil and brown the chicken pieces. Remove the chicken and set aside. Saute the onions and add the rice. Add the sausage and chicken broth with enough water to make two cups. Place the chicken on top. Put in a 350?F oven and bake 35-40 minutes until the chicken is done. |
