Ingredients: 3 or 4 firm green tomatoes 2 eggs, beaten Dry bread crumbs 3 Tablespoons of bacon fat drippings Salt and pepper Directions:1. Heat frying pan and add the bacon fat. 2. Slice your tomatoes into 1/2 inch thick slices. Taking each slice individually, dip it into the egg, covering each side, then place in bread crumbs, covering entire slice. Repeat with each slice until all are coated. 3. Then, place them into the frying pan, with the bacon fat, and fry slowly. Slices should become golden brown. |
