Ingredients: 2 cups shredded kraut 1 small apple, chopped 1/4 cup sugar 1 tsp. paprika 1/2 cup instant potatoes 1 small onion chopped Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste Potatoes, peeled and sliced Directions:Combine kraut, apple, sugar, paprika, instant potatoes, onion, salt, pepper and garlic powder in pan lightly greased with bacon drippings. Bring to boil and simmer 30 minutes. Fry sliced potatoes in skillet with bacon drippings. Cook all for 15 or 20 minutes longer until potatoes are done. |
