1 can chicken broth
3 med. potatoes, diced
1/3 C. chopped onion
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 1/4 C. half & half
10 1/2 oz. can cut asparagus (or 2 C. fresh cooked)
5 oz. jar processed pimiento cheese spread
Bring chicken broth, potatoes, onion and nutmeg to a boil, cover and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in half & half, asparagus and pimiento cheese spread. Simmer, stirring frequently, until thoroughly heated.
