Ingredients: 1 (16 oz) can peaches 1 (16 oz) can pear halves 1 (13 oz) can pineapple chunks 1 (11 oz) can mandarin orange segments 1/3 cup butter 2/3 cup brown sugar, packed 2 tsp curry powder 10 maraschino cherries
Directions:1. Day before serving: Melt butter, add sugar and curry powder. Lift fruit carefully from cans (do not use syrups). Cut pears and peaches to make quarters. Arrange fruits in 1-1/2-quart casserole and sprinkle mixture over top. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour; cool and refrigerate overnight. 2. Next Day: Reheat in 350 degree oven until bubbly. Or, cover and allow to marinate in refrigerator overnight. Remove ? hour before baking; cover and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. |
