Ingredients: 3/4 cup sugar 3/4 cup vegetable oil 1 cup white vinegar 1 7/8 tsp prepared mustard 1 7/8 tsp celery seed 1 tsp salt 1 large cabbage, chopped or shredded 2 carrots, peeled and grated 2 onions, finely chopped
Directions:1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, oil, vinegar, mustard, celery seed and salt. Bring to a boil then cool slightly. 2. In a large bowl, combine cabbage, carrots and onions. Pour warm sauce over vegetables and stir to blend. Cover and refrigerate for several hours. |
