Ingredients: 2 cups thick sour cream 1/2 cup or more chopped green onions Salt and pepper Directions:1. Scrape, wash and cook the new potatoes in boiling water until they are tender. Drain, season with salt, and place in a serving dish. Pour hot Smetana Sauce with Green Onion over them and sprinkle with paprika. This is a superb dish. 2. Bring the cream to a boil. Add the onions and season to taste. Simmer very slowly, uncovered for about 30 to 40 minutes, or until the flavors are developed and the sauce is thickened. |
