Ingredients: 8 ounces Chinese long beans, trimmed and cut into 6-inch pieces 1 tablespoon peanut oil 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 teaspoon sesame oil 1 teaspoon rice vinegar 1 clove garlic, crushed 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
Directions:Place beans in a steamer basket. Steam beans, covered, over boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes, or until crisp-tender. Immerse in ice water to stop cooking process. Drain and pat dry. In a medium bowl, whisk together peanut oil, soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar and garlic. Add beans and sesame seeds and toss to coat. Marinate for 1 hour at room temperature before serving. |
