Directions:1.In a bowl combine 2 tablespoons oil, salt, flour, vinegar, eggs, cornmeal, and ice water. Stir until smooth and creamy. 2.Heat 4 cups oil to 400 degrees. Roll cod in the batter until well coated. Fry alternately with sliced potatoes until golden brown. Serve with tartar sauce and malt vinegar. |
