Ingredients: 2 ? cups flour ? teaspoon baking soda ? cup cocoa powder ? teaspoon salt 1 cup brown sugar ? cup white sugar 1 cup butter or margarine, softened 3 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips 2 pints vanilla ice cream Directions:Combine the flour, soda, salt and cocoa powder in a bowl. In another bowl, cream the sugars together until smooth. Add the butter or margarine and beat until it forms a grainy paste. Add the eggs and vanilla. Beat until fluffy. Slowly add the flour mixture, and then stir in the chocolate chips. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto cookie sheets. Bake at 300 degrees F for about 22 minutes. Transfer cookies and cool completely. To serve, place scoops of the vanilla ice cream between two of the cookies. Wrap in plastic wrap and freeze until firm. |
