Ingredients: 1 can (16 oz.) pitted dark sweet cherries Cold water 2 cups boiling water 1 pkg. (8-serving size) JELL-O Brand Cherry Flavor Gelatin 1 tsp. almond extract Total time: 5 hr 50 min Directions:1. Drain cherries, measuring syrup. Add cold water to syrup to make 1-1/2 cups. Cut cherries in half. 2. Stir boiling water into gelatin in large bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in measured liquid and almond extract. Refrigerate about 1-1/2 hours or until thickened (spoon drawn through leaves definite impression). Stir in cherries. Pour into 5-cup mold sprayed with no stick cooking spray. 3. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Unmold. Garnish as desired. |
