Ingredients: Salad: 1 head iceburg lettuce, shredded 1 bunch green onions, chopped 1 cup sliced almonds 2-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded Dressing: 1/4 cup sugar 2 teaspoons salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1/4 cup white vinegar 1/2 cup salad oil 2 tablespoons poppy seeds Directions:Boil the chicken breasts until done. Allow chicken to cool. Using fingers, shred chicken into small pieces. Combine chicken with salad ingredients. Combine dressing ingredients in a large sealable jar. Shake vigorously. Pour dressing over salad just before serving. |
