Ingredients: Cut in Half; Slice Thinly: 3 red onions (6 cups) Combine in Saucepan with: 2 cups thinly sliced rhubarb 2 cups dried cranberries 1/2 cup dry red wine 1/2 cup light brown sugar 1/3 cup red wine vinegar 1/4 cup honey 1/4 t. ground cinnamon Dash salt
Directions:1.Thinly slice the red onions. 2.In large saucepan, combine onions, rhubarb, cranberries, wine, sugar, vinegar, honey, cinnamon, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. 3.Reduce heat to medium. Simmer and stir for 20 minutes, or until mixture is as thick as applesauce. Cool and serve at room temperature. |
